Your child will have had their log in and password sent home if they wish to continue earning themselves stars during this time. If you experience any problems with this at home please let us know. The website address is www.matific.com The students really enjoyed working on this today.

100 Days at school

To celebrate 100 days at school we were asked to bring along 100 of something. Here's a photo of us holding our 100 things. Unfortunately we did not get a photo of Olivia holding onto the cake with the 100 pebbles. We all thought it tasted yummy too, thanks Olivia.

Jared brought 100 pom poms

Micah and his 100 grains of rice

Olivia and her 100 water balloons

Jahzarn with his 100 buttons

Xahria and her 100 pieces of pasta

Ava with 100 rice bubbles

Isla with 100 pieces of pounamu

Luke with his 100 honey puffs

And Lewis with the 100 sticks he collect along the beach

Well done and many thanks to all of you.

We are learning to count to 100

Maths - Taller and Shorter

Today for maths we talked about the words 'shorter' and 'taller'. Here is a class photo of Room 5 lined up.

We were able to use the words 'taller' and 'shorter' in a sentence. Leon said - "Leon is taller than everyone in Room 5." Lucy said - "Lucy is shorter than everyone in Room 5." Deegan said - "Deegan is taller than Lucy." Charleigh said - "Rhys is taller than Charleigh." Olivia said - "Vinny is taller than Tom." Rhys said - "I am taller than Charleigh." Vinny said - "Vinny is shorter than Olivia." Tom said - "I am taller than Lucy."
